Dear Parent/Guardian,

 

RE: Year 9 Activity Day with the Fire Department

 

I am pleased to be able to offer your son/daughter the opportunity to work with the local Fire Department and with the Science Department on Monday 16th July 2012.  This activity day will give the students the opportunity to ask questions and to talk to people with real life experiences of fire and fire safety.

 

The day will take place at Waingels within the normal college day.  Lunch arrangements will remain as normal.  All activities will be run by both the Science Department and the Fire Brigade.

                    

Parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution of £2 which will cover materials needed for the day as well as a donation towards the Fire Department.  Please return the tear-off slip below, with your voluntary contribution by Thursday 12th July.

 

This will be an enjoyable day for all.  However, please let us know if there are any issues related to this that could affect your son/daughter during the day.   If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the email address below.
