Chiddingly Primary School
"Challenge, Care, Celebrate"
Success for all through aiming high, caring and enjoying learning together as a community.
Chiddingly Primary School believe that children will learn best when they are excited, enthused and motivated by their learning. We work closely with the local community to identify meaningful learning opportunities for children.
As a rural school, we are committed to using the outside environment as a creative and exciting classroom space. We recognise that, as a nation, we are becoming more aware of the potential of learning in the outdoors, and seek to use this area as an inspirational learning environment.
The Sports Premium is an additional amount of money given to schools by the government in addition to their main budget.
Every school receives a fixed amount of money for each pupil. The money is provided to schools so that they can improve the provision of PE and sport. Schools must report to parents the level of sports premium, how we have used it and what difference it has made.
e-Safety – Keeping Your Children Safe on the Internet
Children and young people are likely to be as good as, if not better than, their parents at using the Internet. However, being good at using technology does not mean they have the life-experience and wisdom to handle all of the situations they can come across.
Children and young people are prone to the same kinds of risks (including spam and scam emails, fraud and identity theft) as everybody else. However, there are also other, more sinister threats that may result from going online, such as inappropriate contact from people who may wish to abuse, exploit or bully them, and exposure to inappropriate material.
