We provide continuity of education for children aged between four and eleven.

We believe that every child should be given opportunities to achieve success, in whatever area of the curriculum.  We encourage children to believe in themselves and we develop a caring, respectful behaviour amongst the children.  The happiness, well-being and success of each individual child is paramount. Through our broad and balanced curriculum each child is able to maximise their different talents and skills.  We are proud to be able to offer an extensive range of activities in out of school hours for children.  We aim to give children a sense of confidence in their own abilities and to encourage them to be independent and responsible.

Our strong team of well-qualified experienced teachers and support staff works closely together for the benefit of all the children. Partnership with parents is extremely important to us.  A weekly newsletter, together with opportunities for discussions with teachers, are just two ways in which we ensure that partnership remains strong and focused on each and every child.

Parents of prospective children to the school are warmly invited to attend a formal meeting in January but please contact the school at any time if you would like to come in and get a flavour of the learning experiences available.

There are extensive school grounds which provide two large playgrounds, a playing field and a large grass area. A separate and small outside play area, specifically for the youngest children, is part of the Foundation Stage. The whole site is pleasantly surrounded by trees and shrubs. These provide a background to an environmental area which has undergone extensive development by the School, including the nature area adjacent to the path.

A Trim Trail area also exists on the main playing field for supervised use by all children.  There are ongoing consultations with staff on how to develop the outdoor areas further.
