Computer programs
If you are working at home, you'll need the basic MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 package. As a student, you can buy it much more cheaply. MS Office includes WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL. These are the main programs we use in school. If you want to look at files the teachers have provided but do not want to buy MS Office, you can download mini programs (viewers) for free from Microsoft that enable you to look at WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL files but you'll not be able to edit them.
It's also useful if you have Adobe Acrobat reader.
Resources
If you are logged in, you should be able to see the resources on the list (left of screen). Some pages are being opened up to PUBLIC access so that parents can see them without using a password.
