Explore, Dream, Discover,

Achieve and be…

"Simply The Best"

At Stourport Primary School we believe in providing an education which offers every child the opportunity to maximise their potential underpinned by the belief that all children including children with disabilities deserve a fair chance to learn and live with out being impeded by prejudice;

To help children achieve, our aims at school are:

• To provide a safe and secure environment in which children can explore and discover

• To encourage self worth and self respect.

• To encourage discipline, especially self-discipline.

• To encourage responsibility for their own learning

To find out more information about this please have a look at our 2011/12 School Prospectus available from the Parents Pages tab on left.

Our ICT Vision

As you know, ICT within a school is very important. To this end we have our ICT Vision for both children and staff.

1) Explore the impact of new technologies and embed ICT into whole school improvement.

2) Enrich current and future ICT experiences for all users through a creative curriculum.

3) To allow all users to discover ICT and to enable them to learn in ways best suited to their individual needs on an "anytime, anywhere" basis.

4) For children and staff to be confident, independent and knowledgeable about ICT within the curriculum.

5) To make the users experience as safe as possible by safeguarding them from inappropriate materials by raising awareness and monitoring.

All of the above will allow users to become "Simply the Best" here at Stourport Primary School by embedding ICT across the curriculum.
