The Geography curriculum enables the children to gain understanding and knowledge of the world around them, different cultures and environments. They learn about rivers and how settlements began and compare different localities with a visit to Portsmouth as well as their own environment. 

 

From September 2012 we will be using the International Primary Curriculum.

 

In 2012 - 2013

Y3/4 will study: Living Together (communities), Active Planet (earthquakes and volcanoes) and explorers and adventurers.

Y5/6 will study: They See the World Like This .

 

In 2013 - 2014

Y3/4 will study: Treasure, Do you Live around Here?, Saving the World and Gateways to the World.

Y5/6 will study: Black Gold, The Holiday Show and Moving People
