Welcome to the RE Section

The RE Curriculum for Key Stage 3 and 4 is planned by the coordinator in line with Living Differences - The Agreed syllabus for Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton, with appropriate amendments to suit the individual needs of the pupils.

Pupils receive 1 x40 mins lesson per week.

The curriculum is delivered through topics or units of work in half- termly blocks with the following titles:

Each year, students through their own experience make sense of concepts associated with Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism and respect how and why people live differently.

They also develop an understanding of how and why people have different beliefs, attitudes and practices from others.
