Important information!
  • Children have two weeks to complete homework mini projects and will have a feedback form stuck in their diaries the following week. Reading, spelling and times tables will still be checked every week.
  • Children had their new reading, writing and maths targets sent home at the end of January. Please support your child with learning, understanding and practising these targets. They also have a copy in their exercise books and in a self-made book in their trays at school.
  • The last day of this term will be Friday 15th February and children come back to school after half term on Tuesday 26th February (there is an INSET day on Monday 25th February). 

Current Homework (set Wednesday 6th February)

  • Learn spellings from your phonics group - to be tested each Friday
  • Learn times tables for your group - tested each Wednesday
  • Read 5 times each week - your total will be counted up on Wednesday mornings
  • Mini project is to create information book, poster or model about the Romans to be handed in on Wednesday 27th February. 
Things to remember:
  • PE is on a Monday and Thursday afternoon - kits shoud come in every Monday and go home each Friday. Make sure it contains a t-shirt, shorts and separate PE shoes.
  • Reading logs will be collected and checked daily - children are expected to read 5 times each week.
  • Library books are changed on a Thursday morning.
  • Times tables are tested on a Wednesday and spellings on a Friday.
  • Homework is handed out on a Wednesday and collected two weeks later on a Wednesday.

 YEAR 3's ROMAN DAY
