Welcome to the St John’s Parents Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) webpage
All parents are automatic members of the PTFA and are encouraged to contribute as much as possible.
However there is a small core committee (selected in the AGM held in October), that meet regularly to
prepare for upcoming events.
The role of the PTFA is to raise money towards the funding of school equipment and enhance
our children’s experience at school. We raise money by organising a variety of fun events whilst
promoting a family spirit for all of the parents at St John’s.

The funds that are raised have allowed us to purchase items for the school that we may otherwise not
have been able to have, such as:
Cycle Shed, Playground Markings, New ICT Suite in School
New books for each classroom, A visit from Owen’s Animals
Providing refreshments at school events

We need your support, we welcome new ideas; a helping hand in our events and you can even support
us by actively taking part in the events. Please enquire at the school office if you are interested in joining
the vibrant team and making a difference.
