General Information

Greenacre School Music Department is extremely well resourced with a modern focus on developing musical skills through composition, performance, listening and technology. We have strong links with Medway council and KentPolice through our community project, TrainingThemLive.co.uk. The project runs Rock Schools, concerts and provides support for upcoming bands.

We provide a wide range of performance opportunities both in school and around Kent. We have 14 school bands and often help other local schools to develop their ensembles using our Youth Mentor Team.

We offer a range of instrument tuition during curriculum time, through private tuition and in numerous workshops and performance groups. Students can focus their learning on particular instruments and join our school bands to develop their skills further.
