Our aim is for the children to actively involved in listening to, composing and performing music. The children have weekly music lessons and learn the skills and concepts in rhythm, melody, pitch and harmony. They are encouraged to write their own compositions according to their musical ability and these are performed and recorded. They are also encouraged to play both unpitched and pitched percussion instruments in small and class groups. |
