Current Year 10 and GCSE to be examined from 2017 onwards
 

We follow the AQA Exam Board for GCSE History (code 8145). 

There are two exam papers completed in the summer term of Year 11, which are both 1 hour 45 minutes long and worth 50% each of the GCSE. 84 marks are available on each paper. 

Paper  1 (understanding the modern world) examines the America unit and the Conflict and Tension unit. 

Paper  2 (Shaping the Nation) examines the Health unit and the Norman England unit.
