There is a government funded bursary scheme to help some 16-19 year olds in full-time education. There are 2 parts to the scheme; a payment of £1,200 to a small group of the most vulnerable students, for example young people in care, and a discretionary fund for schools, colleges and training providers to distribute to students from lower household incomes. Bursary funds can help towards payment for the following types of costs:
- Books Materials and Equipment.
- Field Trips and Day Visits.
- UCAS Application.
Further information on the bursary fund, eligibility criteria and the application process is available from the Sixth Form Office.
