Show and Tell.
Show and tell will take place every Friday your child can bring in an item to talk about every week- this is an important part of developing the children’s speaking and listening skills.
Library
We offer a library service for the children, at the beginning of the session on a Tuesday and Thursday.
P.E.
PE lessons are on Wednesdays in the school hall, and the children are required to remove their shoes and socks. It would be helpful if the children did not wear tights on this day.
Snack
At each session the children are offered milk or water and a piece of fruit or vegetable. No other food will be offered without your consent but please notify us of any allergies your children may have.
Voluntary contribution
We are asking for a voluntary contribution of 50p a week to cover the costs of cooking and other activities that require us buying extra materials.
Any help which parents can give in nursery is always welcome. This could be to help the children during a session, running the library, washing aprons or doing tasks behind the scenes. Please speak to a member of staff if you feel able to help us in any way.
This term we are particularly looking for help with the garden, if you would like to work with a group of children to do some gardening please let us know.
We hope that your child enjoys their time in nursery. |
