 How Can We Help?

When new pupils join Archway, we test them for language, literacy and numeracy skills.
This information is passed to all staff.

For children who have difficulties in literacy or numeracy, extra help is available.
There are small group lessons for selected students.
These follow a diagnostically planned individual programme of work and comply with the National Curriculum.

We offer

  • Learning Support Option for Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11)
  • Support for students with a wide range of difficulties across the curriculum

  • Exam Dispensations for formal exams
  • Excellent primary to secondary transfer support
  • Ofsted recognised Learning Support as a real strength of the school
