Below we have created a few links to websites that offer free software that may be required to view some content, on this and other sites, in order to enable you child to complete Internet based homework. We may include links that you may like to be aware of, (as Students are not the best at imparting information, especially to their Parents!)

These links allow you to open and view MS Office files if you do not have MS Office suite installed onto your machine:-
It has been noted that a number of students have access to MS Office 2007 at home. This can a cause a few issues with regards to compatibility. Students using MS Office 2007 need note that when they save a document, it will need to saved as a .Doc, NOT a .Docx, in order to ensure that it will open and work on school machines.
Those who do not possess an MS Office Suite or are looking to upgrade to MS Office 2007 may like to be aware that there is a FREE Office Suite available from Sun Microsystems called Open office.
This package contains 99% of the features that are available in all MS Office suites, and will open and save all Microsoft files from 2000 – 2007.
