A-Level Results 2012
Waingels is very pleased with the results of the A Level students. With a pass rate of 100% we are delighted with their achievements. We have seen excellent improvement of the higher grades with 24% gaining A*/A. This is a 50% improvement on 2011.
At A*-C the improvement is even more dramatic with results improving from 66% to 85% getting these gold standard grades.
We are grateful for the hard work of all the teachers who have ensured their pupils’ work at such a high level. We are very proud of all our students and wish them every success in the rest of their lives.

Waingels Gains Prestigious ICT Mark Award
Students at Waingels are at the forefront of using information and communications technology (ICT) to enhance their work, and that’s official! Following an extensive external assessment Waingels has been awarded the prestigious ICT Mark. The award recognises the college’s success in developing the strategic use of ICT in both administration and across the curriculum.
National Award for Waingels College
We are proud to say that Waingels College won the British Council for School Environments’ (BCSE) Architecture Award for Excellence in Design for Teaching and Learning. Congratulations to all, especially to our superb architect, Pierluigi Chinellato (of Sheppard Robson), who designed this building in keeping with our vision for learning. The award was presented to Pier at an event in London in June 2011.
