Orange Class (Year 1) Teacher: Mrs Cornelius
Welcome to Orange Class. Our topic this half term is Animals. We are finding out about animals around the world. In science we will be finding out about baby animals and how animals change.

We had a lovely visit from Willow the barn owl and found out lots of interesting owl facts. Many thanks to ‘Feathers and Fur’ from Ladds Garden Centre and Dylan Payne’s mum for making it possible.
In art we have been using different media to create our own work. We looked at Henri Rousseau's 'Tropical storm with a tiger' and used collage to create our own interpretation of this.

Update to Education City
I have now entered all the children's names in the success tracker section of Education City. When they have completed a game they can click on 'Success Tracker' and go to the Save Score section where they will be able to find orange class and their name.
We had a Freddie Fit day at school. It was lots of fun and we did loads of exercise to help us keep our bodies fit and healthy.
