Dear Parent / Carer

Can I please remind parents that hoodies are not part of school uniform and we would welcome your support in this matter. If, however students do come to school in their hoodies they will be taken from them and returned at an appropriate time.

If you change your phone number or address can you please ensure that Student Services know via a phone call or letter sent into school.

SENCO Clinic

A SENCO Clinic will be held on Monday mornings, between 9.00 and 10.00 am, for any parent wishing to discuss SEN issues with Mrs Hardy, Assistant Head Teacher & Head of Inclusion Faculty. This will take the form of a drop-in session, within the Faculty.

Working together

The Parent email system is working very well. Each week we send general messages to the 400 homes we have on our system. We can keep you up to date with events at Holgate, homework deadlines and many other items of interest. If you have not already let us know your email and would like to be added to the distribution list, then please send an email to w.haslam@holgate.notts.sch.uk with your child’s name and form on it.

We are also going to trial a text messaging service via mobile phones so please make sure we have the primary number you would like any messages to go to.
