The library is open from 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday

Each year group has a special day for priority use of the computers:

Year 7 – Monday
Year 8 – Tuesday
Year 9 – Wednesday
Year 10 – Thursday
Year 11 – Friday

There is a daily homework club 3.15 – 4.30 where the librarian can give individual help to the students.

Prices:

Photocopier: "black and white" A4 5p - A3 10p

Laminator: A4 puch 10p each - A3 pouch 20p each

Comb Binder: combs - 5p each

Colour Printer: No charge but permission must be given before printing.

b&w printer: No charge but permission must be give before printing.

DVDS/Videos: Overnight loan only.

How can the library help you, the DTC students?

ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF BECOME MEMBERS OF THE DTC LIBRARY AS SOON AS THEY BEGIN COMING TO DTC - they will be entered into the library database and given a library number will be used to identify them during their time at DTC

Studentsare given a ticket which allows them to borrow TWO books for TWO WEEKS. Books can be returned before the two week period has finished or they can have a further two week period added if they need longer to read the book. While no fines are charged for lateness, students are sent overdue notices regularly to remind them to return the books on time.

Staff are given a ticket which allows them to borrow FOUR books for ONE HALF TERM. They will also be sent overdue notices should it become necessary.
