Welcome to Thornden's Website. From the menu on the left you can access exam/coursework information, view school related information and access the monthly Friday Newsletter. Information which also may be of interest to parents will be posted here. You do not need to log-in to view this information.
The website is also the school's VLE (Virtual Learning Environment). An online resource for students to use and access from anywhere with internet connection. These learning resources do require students to log in. Should you wish to log in to view online resources available to students then please use your son/daughters log in. At this time we cannot create seperate parent log-ins. Online resources are available for each curriculum subject. Learning resources include word documents, powerpoints, audio files, links to other sites, lesson information, movie clips and homework sheets! Students also have their own user space allowing them to transfer work easily between school and home.

If you would like to make a suggestion for content you would like to be included online or you would like to report a fault please email website@thornden.hants.sch.uk
 If your child is going to be absent for whatever reason, we would ask you to telephone 023 8024 6577 as Matron is monitoring all absences.
Are your Contact Details Up-to-Date????
In the event of an emergency or accident, the school MUST be able to contact you immediately by telephone, so we need to have the most up-to-date information on our system.
In addition, many parents have welcomed the introduction of electronic communications from school, but this will only continue to be successful if you notify us when your email address changes.
The Admin team send home Data Collection Sheets for checking and updating on an annual basis, but if any of your details change (address, home telephone, mobile, email etc) during the year, we would welcome an update as soon as possible. Please email maxine.thompson@thornden.hants.sch.uk with any updates, or send a note with your child addressed to Mrs. Thompson in Admin Office 2. Thank you for your help with this.
