Uplands School Library is stocked with nearly 6,000 books, including a wide range of non-fiction books for interest and topic work, and fiction for all children in the school.There are picture books and ‘Easy Readers’ right up to our special ‘Year 6 Zone’ for those more challenging reads.The books are regularly updated through new purchases and termly book exchanges with the School Library Service.
Children can change their library books at least weekly and there are opportunities to visit the library as a class or individually.The library is also open every Tuesday after school from 3.15 – 4.00 pm.You are welcome to come along with your child to read with them, or to help them choose a book for pleasure or that will help them with their homework or topic work.
