The Student Voice

Hello! Welcome to the Student Voice area on Calthorpe Park's School Website!

We are Cameron Booker and Leanne Davies and we are the Heads of Student Voice here at Calthorpe Park school.

Student Voice here at Calthorpe Park plays a very important role in getting students involved with events that are taking place within the school. It also allows students to express their ideas and opinions to their peers and discuss parts of school life that are important to them.

Each week the House Captains run House Speak outs for each of the four houses. This is a great opportunity for students of all years to have there say and express their views. The ideas discussed at these meetings are then fed into the Student Voice meetings

Every student's opinion is equally valued at these meetings, that are held once a month, and we strongly believe that student participation and involvement is key within a school community.

Getting students actively involved around the school creates a more positive environment with elements of fun and enthusiasm which are shown in everything that we, as a Student Voice, do.

On our portal page we will post the minutes of each meeting. The aim of this is to get everyone in the school community actively involved in the improvement of school life by adding to the list of possible ways students can have their voice's heard.
