What is the SRC? SRC (Student Representative Council) is an organization of students that work together for the general benefit of the school by promoting school morale, spirit and co-operation between the student body, the teachers and administrators.
What does the SRC do? SRC provides a forum for student expression – which means to give pupil a voice to say what they think about this school. If you as a student believes there are improvements yet to be made, we as SRC has the responsibility to speak up for you.
Who is involved in the SRC? In general - everybody. Through the class representatives, all opinions can be voiced at SRC meetings and students are expected to take an active role in SRC run event Each class has two representatives who will attend the meetings and their jobs will be to ensure that the right information is communicated to the right people. ·They act as ambassadors for their homeroom, sharing information/opinions from the class at the SRC meetings and then relaying the results/findings of the meeting back to the class. Through out the years we had acknowledge the difficulty for student to voice their opinion through representative, which is why this year we had incorporate computer technology into use so you can tell us what you think through e-mails above.
