COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT
The projects are designed to be simple and intuitive to take part in. We provide Teacher Notes which explain the nature and content of the activities in the form of Medium & Short term planning with suggestions for classroom display, differentiation and homework. Curriculum Coverage (Foundation Stage, Primary & Secondary) references are within the planning in detail to support tracking and assessment. Each project site has a Teachers section containing the Teacher Notes, a User Guide, Activity Training Films, Templates and further online resources. Each week during the project, you will also receive email guidance on the week’s activities.
WHEN CAN I START?
Projects re-launch every UK half term, but you can continue for as long as you wish once you have begun. 2008-09 starting dates are: Autumn 1 (8 September), Autumn 2 (27 October), Spring 1 (5 January), Spring 2 (23 February), Summer 1 (20 April), Summer 2 (1 June).
HOW DO I JOIN?
Click on the logo of the project that you are interested in, and then follow the link to the online registration form. We'll then contact you with access and activity information. Please Note: places for these projects are limited and highly sought after. We therefore expect participating schools to engage and committ to the projects that they register for.
