Here at Tupton we have an extremely well-equipped Design & Technology Department with a committed team of teachers and support staff who together make up a valuable part of Tupton Hall School.

All students will be given the chance to develop their skills in Food Technology, Textiles Technology, Resistant Materials, Product Design, Electronics and Engineering. They willparticipate indesigning, planning and making in all material areas using both traditional skills and Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).

Practical skills are life-enabling, and we are sure that all our students will find all aspects of D&T vital in their future life.

We actively encourage all of our students to study a Design and Technology subject into GCSE and beyond as we believe that we are a subject which prepares our youngsters for the future.
