PLaTS focuses on competencies for learning and life
  • The aim is to tie new information to what they already know; using examples that are relevant to their life experience; placing the emphasis on life long learning.
  • Picking strands from the Creative Arts, Humanities and Technologies students will experience lessons with more role play, group work, sharing of ideas and local community focused learning.
  • By learning from our own experiences and culture they will consider how this relates to their wider world.
  • The students will enter Yr8 curious about their subjects; knowing how to research a topic; evaluate their own and others work; and present their knowledge and ideas.
