CLASSICS PRIZE COMPETITION – SUMMER 2013!
For the seventh year running, the Classics Department is offering (courtesy of Mr Alexander) handsome prizes for the Classics Prize. Last year generous financial prizes were awarded to a number of talented students who entered.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO: by the Monday of Activities’ Week, submit a piece of work to Mr Gayle which is directly related to the ancient world in some way. It can be in any format: words (story, poem, play, magazine, biography etc.); art (drawing, painting, mosaic, sculpture); or object (model, hand-made clothes, Roman or Greek jewellery, etc.) It can be as long or short, large or small, in any shape or form as long as it is linked to the ancient world.
Awards will be decided by Mr Alexander and Mr Gayle during Activities Week, and given at the start of the September term.
Good luck!
