NEWS ABOUT TERM 3
This term our topic is The Battle of Hastings.We are going to find out about this important event and why England had a French speaking King.
In ART we are looking at sculpture this term, especially how public sculpture can change the way a place feels. Lots of you have produced some lovely homework about the Angel of the North, and how this sculpture makes you feel.
In science we are going to find out about solids, liquids and gases. We have been doing an investigation to find out whether all liquids freeze in the same way.
The homework project this term is to create your own Saxon or Norman shield. This can be of any materials you wish and any design. Have fun researching and I look forward to seeing the finished result on the 27th February.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER!
LIBRARY is on a Wednesday.
P.E is on Monday morning. Please make sure you have your kit in school. We will try to go outside whenever possible so tracksuit bottoms are very useful.
HOMEWORK is usually given out on a Friday and due back on a Wednesday.
