Our Topic for term 3 is 'It's not rocket Science!'
Clara's mother visited our class and amazed everyone with a fabulous ultrasound demonstration.

Homework will be given as follows:
Tuesday –
Topic, to be done for Monday;
Friday – Tables
+ Spellings (work sheets are optional) for next week Friday;
5 x 15 minutes reading – for Tuesday.
Your child will write the work set on the appropriate
page in their blue Homework Diary, please check and sign the homework diary for each Monday. If your child
can not do/complete the work set for any reason please make a note of it in the
homework diary for that day and kindly remind your child to show us at the
start of the day.
We also ask that your child reads for 15 minutes 5
times a week, please could you sign the red reading diary on each occasion
to make sure this is up to date. We check for 5 signatures on every Tuesday
and your child will then be entered for a raffle prize.
If your child is unable to hand in the Topic or reading homework on the requested day without having a note from yourselves we will ask your child to do this homework at an appropriate break time.
If you have any questions, worries or if you would
like to make an appointment to see Mrs Thumwood, please write a note in your
child’s homework diary.
