SWORDS AND SANDALS

The visit to Fishbourne was really interesting and we learned a lot about the Roman way of life. We also learned what it was like to be a Roman slave - hard work

Year 4 will be holding a slave market and end of term Roman feast on

Wednesday 18th July.

Children are invited to dress up and bring in some Roman food - grapes, olives, bread etc.

Stuffed peacock brains will be provided!

Children will really benefit from learning these words at home and it will support their learning at school. Try using magnetic letters or writing them. A highlighter pen can be useful to highlight patterns or blends. There may be word repetition at times- this is deliberate and planned. Thank you for your support.
