Waldringfield Primary School
Waldringfield Primary School > About Us

Waldringfield Primary School was founded in 1874 by the great-grandfather of the village’s current vicar; the original school building is now the school hall.  As the school grew, a large extension was added in 1958, to provide extra classrooms, office and storage space, kitchen and a dining area, library and toilets.  Still the school grew in numbers, and in 2002 two more classrooms and an ICT suite were added, together with a much larger playground and landscaping of the garden areas immediately next to the building.  The school is thus well equipped to continue in the tradition of its founder – providing a first-class primary education for the children of the village and surrounding area in a caring, family atmosphere.
