Yes, we made them together.
Yes and my teacher reminds me about them.
They are on the wall
My teacher made them up
We can read them
They are by my teacher’s chair
Why have you got class rules?
J To keep us safe in school
J I don’t know why we have them
J So we don’t get told off
J
To keep people sensible
J So we know what to do
J Otherwise people will be sad or lonely
J So we can help people in trouble or if they get hurt
J So people don’t get hurt
J So you are safe
J So when you are grown up you don’t do bad stuff
J So children are not naughty in the class
J To make you kind
J So people can do the right thing
J
To help people do lots of work
J To remind people not to be naughty
J It is nice to have rules
J Toys will get broken and it will be horrible
J To make the class happy
How does the teacher get you to listen?
Turn the rainstick
Blow the whistle outside
Claps hands and we all join in
Says ‘stop what you are doing’
Says ‘come to the carpet
Uses a big voice
She goes sh sh sh sh
Shows a red card
