Welcome St Nicholas' class Term 4

We have Mrs Ward as our class teacher Mrs Smith as our teaching assistant

Wow, we are in term 4 already. This is an exciting term for year four as they prepare for the Passion Play.

Please could you ensure your child has a water bottle in school, pencil, ruler, and hand writing pen, thank you.

You will hopefully see the assembly uploaded on our class page, due to copy right issues the music has been muted.

This is our class Saint, St Nicholas the patron Saint of Children. Class four chose St Nicholas so that he would guide and look over them while they are at school and home.

Spelling tests will always be on a Thursday morning and homework is due in on a Thursday as well, unless advised.

SNOW WORK:

As we have been looking at descriptive language I would like you to create a poem or short story about the snowy weather! Think about your senses and how you can use these to describe what you see, hear, smell, touch etc! Also use your VCOP when writing as this will help you to write extended, creative sentences! Have fun! You can use pictures as well!

The children have their spellings on a sheet and they need to write 10 senences using some of these spellings. They also have a literacy sheet and a maths sheet that they need to complete.
