Enterprise Learning Partnerships

The Forest School, in conjunction with a number of primary, secondary and special schools throughout Berkshire, as well as the Central Berkshire Enterprise Business Partnership Organisation and the Wokingham Local Authority have established up an Enterprise Learning Partnership (ELP) whereby a collaboration is established to develop enterprise learning in the 5-19 years of age curriculum.

Government funding will be available which we can put towards teachers professional development, enterprise resources and so on in order to delivery some exciting enterprising activities for the students. Although early days our ELP is likely to comprise of;
Each ELP must have a minimum composition of:
  • Primary schools (Bearwood and Caversham Primaries)
  • Secondary schools (Forest, Maiden Erlegh, Waingels St Barts, Windsor Girls, Edgebarrow, Westgate)
  • Special School (Addington)
  • Further Education College (TVU and The University of Reading)
  • 1 representative from the local business community (Forest Governor-TBC and the Central Berkshire Enterprise Business Partnership )
