Elizabeth Earl,

Mrs Earl works for the Army Families’ Federation and is currently studying for a PhD in Sociology.  She sits on three SGCs across the island and is leading the pan-island Inspirations Initiative.  Inspirations is raising aspiration for all children within SCE schools.  Elizabeth has a great passion for reading and inspiring academic attainment in all children and can often be found on her bike enjoying the fantastic cycling opportunities that Cyprus has to offer. Elizabeth is a real wordsmith who has coined our phrase of ‘Real Children Have Respect, Courage and Friendship’ (representing the school’s core values of Responsibility, Co-operation, Honesty, Respect, Courage and Friendship). She has quickly become an integral part of our team and can always be relied on to ask lots of questions! As a result of her strong commitment she has got to know the school really well in a short space of time.

Angela Dart,

Angie relocated to Cyprus in 2014 after a 20-year career as a secondary school librarian. She has lots of experience of working with children including supervising a holiday play scheme for children with special educational needs. Since arriving in Cyprus, Angela has been a Home Start volunteer supporting local families. Angela has been volunteering twice every week in both of the foundation stage classes and feels she is a valued, important part of the SGC team moving the school forwards. Angela’s voluntary work for the last two years has meant that she has seen how much the school has improved since the last inspection.
