Governors make decisions about how the school is run. They have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act together and have no powers to act as individuals. Governors are appointed to determine school policy, decide how money is spent, appoint new members of staff and monitor the performance of the school. Minutes of Governing Body meetings are available at school for parents to see.
The Governors meet at least termly as a Governing Body and in addition there are separate committees for Finance & Resouces, Curriculum, Community and Staffing. The Governors are happy to meet with parents informally at any time and may be contacted through the school office. Our Chairperson is Mrs Jackie Yule. |
