VOUCHERS
At Velmead Junior School we collect a variety of vouchers that
different companies hae set up to support schools.
For example:
Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Nestle,
Times (Books for Schools) etc.
Every voucher that you bring in to school is exchanged for
Sports, Art, Nature, ICT equipment and many other items that are used
by all children in school.

July 2012
This year's vouchers have been counted and sent off this week.
We managed to collect 8660 vouchers this year which have been spent on lots of new sporting equipment that will be used by everyone in school.
We have ordered some Space Hoppers, Sports Bibs and a Bowling Set
as well as many other items.

We have just taken delivery of 3 Flip Video Cameras
and some memory sticks which we purchased with this year's vouchers.
The cameras will be used in class very soon!
Thank you to everyone who collected vouchers for us again this year.

We have received 18,168 Tesco Vouchers this year.
We have used these vouchers to order three Primary Visualisers to use in ICT, a lower case keybaord for use with SEN children, a Heart Rate Investigation Kit for use in science and some Rechargeable Batteries for the school digital cameras.
