We have the advantage of a modern, purpose-built school designed to provide airy classrooms, an attractive library area, practical work spaces looking onto an inner courtyard, a hall fully equipped with modern PE apparatus and attractive administration areas.
The flowerbeds around the school have been planted with shrubs and bulbs to create a pleasant environment.
There is a separate play area for the youngest children at the front of the school and a playground for the older children at the rear of the school. There is also a grassed field for games and sport. Recent additions to the school grounds are our creative play area which holds great potential in enhancing the curriculum and our adventure play area.
During 2007/8 our Forest School shelter and octagonal shelter were added.
We also have excellent music and ICT facilities and each class is equipped with an interactive whiteboard in order to enhance learning and teaching.
OFSTED
Lyppard Grange opened in 1998 and a visit by OFSTED inspectors celebrated our achievements, identifying the close-knit family atmosphere that we have created and found that the children joined in activities with infectious enthusiasm and really enjoyed being at school.
