List the words that show you the order of events?
What is the purpose of the text?
Who do you think it was written for?
What features of the text shows you that it was written for that audience?
I wonder what the author intended by using those words?
How has the author used adjectives to make the character funny/strange/moody etc?
Why do you think the title of the book is appropriate/inapproporiate?
why do you think that the writer chose to write in the past/present tense? What is the effect of this on the reader?
I wonder why the writer decided to....?
What was the overall theme of the book? e.g. good over evil, weak over strong
Can you think of a similar test to this? Why is it similar?
