Welcome to Maple Class!
Last term our topic was 'Famous explorers' and we focused on the moon landing. We learnt a lot about space and even had our very own 'Space evening.' We went on a space hunt in the dark, sang space songs and had hot chocolate and moon rock cakes! Mmmm!
In March we took part in the 'Voices and Visions' dance festival at the Artrix Theatre, where we performed our dance called 'Polar Extreme.'
This term our topic has been 'Growing' and we have been looking closely at the lifecycle of a ladybird and how plants grow. We have a 'Bug Research Lab' in our classroom and are always finding new minibeasts. We found a HUGE spider the other day.
One more term left and we have lots of exciting things planned. Watch this space to find out what we get up to!
