The Year 2 'Exciting Writing' group went to Waitrose to collect their 'Grow and Sell' gardening kit. This was presented to them by our M.P. Damian Hinds!!
The 'Exciting Writing' group will be growing plants and writing about this project.Then they will go back to Waitrose to sell the plants to raise money for our school!

SPRING 2013
The Easter Bonnets worn to school today were amazing! Thank you to everyone who helped to create them!
Join in with the rest of the world and switch off your lights for an hour at 8:30p.m. on Saturday 23rd March 2013!
Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. People across the world. from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet. Earth Hour is organised by WWF, who are one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organisations. Thier mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

Year R Mums' Tea Party
The year R children invited their mums to a very special tea party today. They carefully decorated their biscuits, sang songs and presented some very special cards - please take a look at the year R class pages to see more photographs!
The year 1 children have had a brilliant Builders Day. They have spent the day taking part in a variety of exciting building activities. Visit each of the year 1 class pages to see what they have been busy doing.

We had a lovely Harvest Assembly with the Reverend Will Hughes from
St. Peter's Church.
Thank you for all your Harvest food - the Year 2 helpers had a very busy time selling it at our Harvest Market!
We had a fantastic Harvest lunch!
Ian Whybrow
Ian Whybrow, the author of 'Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs' and many other much loved stories, visited our school. Each year group had a chance to meet him.
He told us all about becoming an author and told us some of his favourite 'Harry' stories.
He also taught us some funny rhymes!
We collected lots of Tesco Vouchers!
We were invited to our local Tesco store because we collected so many vouchers! They gave us a box of goodies for the school too!
