Welcome from Cotswold Class
This term our topic is called:
The Olympics 2012
We started work on the first day of term with a whole school art project.
Before Easter we had a competition to design a logo for the Olympics. The four winning designs were chosen to back four large 'sails'. For the front of the sails we drew our own pictures of Olympic events.
Four project leaders from Year 5 organised the painting of backgrounds and then we each painted our designs onto the sails.
The work is now complete. Look out for them in the main corridor soon!
This term we will be learning about the Ancient Olympics, where it all began.
We will go on to find out about the Modern Olympics and London 2012
