Welcome
back after the nice long Easter break. The children are very excited to
be back and the feel of the learning environment is good as the weather
gets better because we can at last spill out onto the outdoor area!
Our topic for this half term is
called "All about me" and we ask the children the question ......"how
have I changed since I was a baby?" This will allow them to explore
change and timelines through story, songs, rhyme and action. We have
begun a new scrapbook to collect our work in and our unlocking day is
Thursday 26th April where we will be tasting food a baby will eat,
bathing babies, making a baby toy and looking at pictures of ourselves
when we were young.
As the term progresses our topic looks forward to the summer holidays and we explore places to visit and the seaside.
Forest School activities resume
this term and the site is now showing signs of a late Spring with
blossom and bud. We look forward to spending more time up there.
It promises to be another busy term with a trip to Smite Farm booked for June. |
