The remit of the committee is set by the Eco-school’s governing body and there are 9 topics covering: water, biodiversity, energy, global perspectives, healthy living, litter, school grounds, transport and waste minimisation/recycling.
Each year, the committee carries out an environmental review and from this it develops its action plan.
This year the main foci are: maintaining the profile of Fairtrade within the school; developing and supporting curriculum links with global diversity.
