SNOW WORK
For year 9 and10
1. Research and collate materials for forthcoming releases - the Christmas "market" How are these being marketed / exhibited / distributed? Don't concentrate solely on cinema releases but also the DVD / Blu Ray market. This is such an important time of the year for the film industry so this is a good time to see how it is trying to convince the consumer of its product. What films are being released at this time? which do you think will be most succesful? Why?
Year 10 you could also spend this time thinking more about your creative coursework - perhaps trying to narrow your ideas down further and figuring out your USP and Target Audience for the film.
Welcome to the Film Studies home page. Here you will find copies of worksheets and handouts from your lessons with Mr Coe. You will also find helpful links to useful websites as well as being able to participate in forum and wiki activities.
Year 11 - try and complete your extended step out lines and stroyboards. Also do a doubble bubble map comparing british and american films - with examples.
Keep an eye on the calender and news items which are all related to film studies.
Happy watching! |
