In Year 12? Want to take on the most powerful job in the Student Union? Confident, enthusiastic and up for a challenge?
Then SU president could be for you!
Your role is to represent all students across the college from years 7-13, taking their opinions and ideas back to the staff, teachers and management and championing their interests wherever possible.
Year 9s want more areas to play football at lunchtime, Year 11s feel that they need more study support for their GCSEs or Post 16 want to put on a social event - its all under your responsibility.
The job of SU president can sometimes be challenging, occassionally stressful, however the amount you will learn and the extent to which you will develop your confidence, leadership and personality is second to none.
To stand for SU president you must be in the Post 16 Committee
So, you're wondering, what exactly does the Student Union do?
Well, we're first and foremost here to represent you guys: the students.
