Our Vision 
Empowering school communities to have speech, language and communication at the heart of every pupil’s learning.
Our Aims
  • To maximise the communication potential of pupils.
  • To enable pupils to progress and achieve, by removing barriers to their learning and enhancing their access to the curriculum.
  • To offer a coordinated service (comprising speech and language therapist with a specialist language teacher) for pupils with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
  • To actively support Brighton and Hove’s vision for SEN by providing a universal, targeted and specialist model of speech, language and communication intervention.
  • To work in partnership with health, education and social care agencies to inform the decision making process with regard to appropriate provision for pupils.
  • To work in partnership with parents/carers of pupils with speech, language and communication needs, providing advice and training as necessary.
