Welcome back to a new term and I hope you all had a good Easter holiday. The weather is certainly warmer and so I would like to remind you to
provide hats for your children when on the
playground and sipper bottles of water for the classroom. The bottles should have the name of your child on them.
As you can see if you have been on site the
fencing has been moved to allow access for
lorries and to separate school from the building works.
The playground is smaller and so we have
arranged playtimes so that only two classes will be on there at a time.
Infant play will start at 10.20, followed by years 3 and 4 at 10.35 and years 5 and 6 at 10.55.
Lunch will be the same as usual , with infant and junior lunch at different times. One class will be on the trim trail and another class will play board games, whilst the others are on the playground: there will be a rota to
ensure every class has a turn at the three activities.
When dropping your child in the morning, as the children have to line up, it would help if only Rainbow, years 1 and 2 parents came on site. You can use the path at the back of the hall and walk around on to the playground. Other parents can drop their child at the school entrance.
In the afternoon Infant parents can follow the same route as in the
morning. Years 3 and 4 parents can come through the playground gate and wait by the hall for their child.
Obviously, if we find any problems with this we may have to change the
arrangements but hopefully all will go smoothly. Thank you in advance for your patience as we go through this challenging time.
