| Mrs Welch has been in contact with me and has reported that all is well - they should certainly sleep well tonight after an action packed day of activities. They have been rock climbing and ski-ing, and are eating well. Even the fussy eaters are eating everything in sight!
Special mention goes to Travis for his team leadership skills in the rock climbing, and for Kiera, who would give Spiderwoman a run for her money.
Tuesday - Ski-ing went well - all having a brilliant time and still eating everything they are offered because they are so hungry.
Tuesday evening - they all had a go on the zip wire.
Wednesday morning - I have just heard from Mrs Welch that they all had a good nights sleep, and they are going canoeing today.
Thursday - Yesterday's canoeing at Yalding went really well - every pupil took part, and they even 'shot a weir'. Mrs Welch described the day as 'a lazy day on the river'. After a picnic lunch on the riverside followed by ice cream and more canoeing, they returned to Bowles for tea, and in the evening they did more ski-ing and rock climbing.
Friday update - Please make sure you have a large supply of washing detergent - they have a lot of dirty washing for you! A variety of activities since the last bulletin - orienteering, more ski-ing, rock climbing, abseiling, zip wire sessions and a quiet evening watching a video. There is also an interesting collection of bruises to show off. Just to clarify, I have spoken to Mrs Welch this morning, and there is no need to collect your children from school early, as you do not need to collect from Bowles before 4.30pm.
